MSC Cruises has unveiled details of its new state-of-the-art, multiple ship cruise terminal to be built at PortMiami.
The cruise line has received approval and will design and construct the new highly innovative cruise terminal. MSC Cruises will also be responsible for operating and maintaining the large building that will house the two cruise terminals as well as the two quayside cruise berths.

MSC Cruises has announced that is has confirmed and signed the final contacts with Fincantieri shipyard for the construction of four luxury cruise ships.
Each of the four ships will have a gross tonne of 64,000 and feature the very latest state-of-the-art maritime and environmental technologies.

MSC Cruises has announced that superstar tenor, Andrea Bocelli will be performing at the naming ceremony of its newest ship, MSC Bellissima in Southampton.
Bocelli will perform alongside his son Matteo during the traditional Officers’ Parade at the ceremony, which will take place in Southampton, shore side next to the ship in a custom-built marquee at City Cruise Terminal on 02 March 2019.
With just over one month until MSC Bellissima is named in Southampton, the world’s largest privately-owned cruise line, MSC Cruises, has revealed more details about the three days of celebrations that will launch the cruise line’s new flagship.
Hosting the Naming Ceremony proceedings on the 02 March 2019 March in Southampton, will be English TV presenter and star of ITV, Holly Willoughby. She is best known for her current presenting roles on ‘This Morning’ (ITV), ‘Dancing on Ice’ (ITV) and ‘Celebrity Juice’ (ITV2). She recently joined Dec in jungle for a once in a lifetime opportunity co-hosting last year’s 'I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’.
MSC Grandiosa has been floated out at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique in Saint-Nazaire, France, where the ship is currently under construction.
The 181,000 gross tonne ship was moved to a wet dock, where work will continue on the ship until it is delivered to MSC Cruises in October 2019.
MSC Bellissima has set sail from the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France on her first set of sea trials.
The ship left the shipyard on the morning on 19 December 2018. The ship will return to the shipyard later this month before setting sail on further sea trials in 2019 ahead of its delivery.
Construction of the first of two Seaside Evo-class ships for MSC Cruises has begun, with the cutting of the first piece of steel taking place at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy on 26 November 2018.
MSC Cruises also announced that the new ship will be named MSC Seashore. The 169,400 gross tonne ship will be the largest ship ever to be built in Italy and is due to enter service in spring 2021. |
