On 28 November 2018, Norwegian Cruise Line held an unforgettable keel laying ceremony for its newest ship, Norwegian Encore at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
The cruise line also revealed further details the award-winning entertainment line-up and leading recreational amenities which will debut on board the new ship.

The 13-night Mediterranean cruise will visit Livorno, Florence-Pisa, Italy - Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy - Naples, Italy - Dubrovnik, Croatia - Corfu Island, Kerkyra, Greece - Messina, Taormina, Sicily, Italy - Valletta, Malta and Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy before arriving back to Barcelona on 15 April.

MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Meraviglia, which launched in June 2017 will offer cruises from New York.
The 4,475-passenger MSC Meraviglia currently cruises the Meditterean but will head to North America in October 2019. The ship will arrive in New York for the first time on 07 October 2019. Royal Caribbean International is to announce details about the 2018 – 2019 deployment for its fleet, which currently consists of 25 cruise ships, with an additional six new build cruise ships due to launch between 2018 and 2024.
The deployment of the Royal Caribbean International’s ships is expected to be announced in phases throughout March 2017 and April 2017. The opening scheduled for 2018 – 2019 deployment is as follows: Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced the deployment of its fleet of four ultra-luxury cruise ships, for 2018 and early 2019, offering a total of 113 different cruise itineraries. The ultra-luxury cruise ships will visit a total of 28 maiden ports of call.
