The Celebrity Reflection is set for a significant capacity increase during its upcoming refurbishment in early 2027, with an estimated 59 new staterooms to be added during the ship’s planned drydock.
The ship's additional accommodations will bring the 126,000-ton vessel’s capacity to nearly 3,150 passengers based on double occupancy. The new staterooms will be created by repurposing several existing public areas throughout the ship. On Deck 5, parts of the Grand Foyer will be converted to accommodate 17 additional staterooms. The ship’s current Passport Bar and guest relations desk will also be replaced by new outside cabins, with the guest relations desk being relocated elsewhere on the deck. A further 16 staterooms will be added across Decks 11 and 12 by reducing the footprint of the existing spa and fitness center. The largest expansion will take place on Deck 15, where 26 new staterooms will replace existing youth facilities, a basketball court and a video game arcade. Announced in late July, the refurbishment is part of a fleetwide enhancement program that will see Celebrity Cruises update all of its Solstice-class ships. In addition to the new accommodations, Celebrity Reflection will receive upgrades to its entertainment and dining areas, along with 13 new venues. One of the additions will be the Celebrity Pool Club, featuring two dedicated bars and new poolside dining options.
The ship will also gain four new entertainment spaces, including the 125-seat Boulevard Lounge, which will offer games, karaoke and live performances.
The Retreat, Celebrity’s suite-class area, will receive an upgraded sun deck featuring a large hot tub, as well as a redesigned lounge. Other changes will include an expanded casino, which will take over space currently occupied by a shopping gallery. Celebrity has been increasing the accommodation capacity of its Solstice-class fleet since early 2025. The Celebrity Eclipse gained 10 additional staterooms during a routine drydock that year. Earlier in 2026, Celebrity Solstice also received 54 additional staterooms as part of a broader modernization program.
