Princess Cruises' stunning Sphere-Class ship, Sun Princess, has once again been recognized as the #1 Mega Cruise Ship in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler 2025 Readers' Choice Awards.

This marks the second consecutive year that Sun Princess has earned the top honour, underscoring her reputation for delivering unforgettable voyages with extraordinary style, innovation, and service.

Launched in 2024, as the first of the new Sphere-Class vessels, the 177,882-ton, 4,300-guest Sun Princess quickly captured the hearts of travellers around the world. Offering a seamless blend of elegant design, dynamic entertainment, world-class dining, and the warm, personalized service Princess is known for, the ship continues to set a new standard for the cruise industry.

"We are honored that Sun Princess has once again been recognized by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler as the best mega cruise ship at sea," said Gus Antorcha, President of Princess Cruises. "This award is a true testament to the ship's next-generation design and amenities amplified by the dedication and passion brought by our incredible crew to create exceptional experiences for our guests. To receive this honor for a second year is both humbling and motivating as we continue to deliver unforgettable Princess vacations across the globe and expand our fleet with sister-ship Star Princess."

The Readers' Choice Awards are among the longest-running and most respected recognition programs in the travel industry. Each year, Condé Nast Traveler readers cast hundreds of thousands of votes for the very best in travel, celebrating excellence in hospitality, destinations, airlines, and cruise lines.

With itineraries across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, and beyond, Sun Princess showcases innovative features such as The Dome, a multi-level, glass-enclosed entertainment space inspired by the terraces of Santorini; and Spellbound by Magic Castle, a one-of-a-kind immersive speakeasy experience fusing magic, mixology, and storytelling. Guests also enjoy 30 inviting restaurant and bar venues featuring high-end ingredients, an unprecedented collection of celebrity collaborators, and Princess' Love Line Premium Liquors Collection, which includes a selection of thoughtfully curated wines and spirits, offering both spirited selections and non-alcoholic* creations.

With over 1,500 balcony staterooms, suites are designed with comfort and style in mind, including the exclusive Sanctuary Collection –  an elevated private escape at sea with access to an exclusive restaurant; the Sanctuary Club, a tranquil, adults-only pool deck; and thoughtfully curated amenities that set a new standard for luxury at sea.

Standout venues include The Dome, a next-generation relaxation and entertainment space; The Princess Arena, Princess' most technologically advanced theater yet; and The Piazza, the architectural centerpiece of the ship with its dramatic curves, floor-to-ceiling windows, and sweeping ocean vistas.

Princess Cruises will continue to elevate the guest experience as the Sphere Class expands with the debut of Star Princess, which set sail on her maiden voyage earlier this month.
