Heading Back to Norway on MSC Virtuosa

I'm super excited to be heading back to Norway again with MSC Cruises, on their much loved mega-ship, MSC Virtuosa, setting sail from Southampton!

This will be my second time on board MSC Virtuosa, and my third time cruising to Norway. Joining me this time will be my partner, along with his mum, who has never been on a cruise before and has decided to take the plunge for her sixtieth birthday.

It took us sometime to find an ideal cruise. Norway with its stunning scenery seemed like a good choice! The seven night cruise departs Southampton on 30 August and will call at Haugesund, Måløy, Flåm and Kristiansand. There is also a day at sea each way too, on route to and from Norway.

I am excited to be visiting some different ports in Norway. I've been to Flåm on all of my cruises to Norway so far, and it still wows me with its beauty. Måløy and Kristiansand I have not visited before so I am looking forward to exploring these new ports.

This will be my first cruise since graduating university, but I already have another booked just a matter of days later! (Look out for my next blog). Last year when I cruised on MSC Virtuosa I had a wonderful time. I enjoyed the Norwegian Fjords and the ship impressed me too. At the time I was still studying so did not get time to produce a drawing of the ship. This time I hope to, so I will be busy drawing in the weeks leading up to departure to get the large-scale drawing finished in time to take on board with me.
