​Celebrating The Royal Wedding At Sea

There’s no getting away from the celebrations of the Royal Wedding no matter where you are in the world and that includes being at sea on a cruise. Many cruise lines are celebrating the big day on board their ships with some offering special extras.

Cruise & Maritime Voyages

The British-based cruise operate will celebrate the Royal Wedding on board its fleet of traditional smaller ships with screenings of the wedding proceedings on board. The cruise line will also offer a quintessential British afternoon tea, quizzes and a 1960s British music dance party!

P&O Cruises​

The Royal Wedding will be screened across all seven ships in the P&O Cruises fleet, with each ship being decorated with flags and official bunting. Passengers will celebrate the occasion with a champagne toast to the Royal couple.
 
At dinner guest will have extra American and English food options to course from as well as a celebratory afternoon tea. The cruise line has also created a special Meghan Sparkle cocktail available at the bars on board.

Cunard Line​

Cunard Line’s iconic Three Queens will each screen the Royal Wedding. The Cunard Line flagship will be in the middle of a transatlantic crossing on the day of the Royal Wedding, whilst Queen Victoria will be in Scotland and Queen Elizabeth in Russia.
 
Each of the three ships will offer passengers a special Royal Wedding afternoon tea, including the Union Jack Butterfly, Chocolate Crown and Victoria Wedding Cake along with traditional finger sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and jams. Bars on board the Three Queens will offer celebration cocktails including the Princess Bride, The King's Steed, American Beauty, Midnight Over the Atlantic and P.S. I Love You.
 
In the evening passengers will enjoy a special commemorative dinner with keepsake menus. A celebratory cake will be serves in each of the restaurants, modelled on the bride and groom’s own cake.

Princess Cruises

17 ships in the Princess Cruises fleet will screen the Royal Wedding on the poolside movie screens, as well as in bars and lounges throughout the ships. The ships will also have Royal-themed parties, special menus and quizzes for passengers to take part in.
