Royal Caribbean International's state-of-the-art Icon of the Seas will become the world's largest cruise ship when it debuts from her home port of Miami in January 2024. The massive new mega ship will welcome up to 7,600 passengers at a time!
The first ship in Royal Caribbean International's new Icon-class, promises not to disappoint, with so much to do on board, it'll be hard to find time to take in everything, even on a week long cruise. The ship features 8 neighbourhoods, as well as reimagined favourites, including the new multi-deck AquaDome and the Absolute Zero ice-skating arena. Icon of the Seas will also lead the way for the future, as she will be the first ship in the fleet to be powered by liquified natural gas (LNG). Sun Princess
Sun Princess is the first ship in Princess Cruises' brand new Sphere-class, and is set to join the fleet in February 2024. The ship features an impressive 21 decks and will accommodate 4,300-passengers. Those on board will be able to choose from 29 restaurant and bars. The ship will also feature two new accommodation classes.
The ship will be suited for families as well as the more traditional cruise passenger, with new features for all to enjoy, including The Dome, Park 19 and Sea Breeze. Queen Anne
Queen Anne will be the first new ship for Cunard Line in over a decade, and is expected to set off on her maiden voyage from Southampton in May 2024. The ship will also be the 249th ship to join the fleet, but the first ever to be named Queen Anne.
The line's female captain, Inger Klein Thorhauge will take command of the new 3,000 passenger Cunarder! Queen Anne will offer many of Cunard's much-loved favourites, but with a slight modern twist and improvements. New dining options will also feature. Silver Ray
In June 2024, the ultra-luxury cruise brand Silversea will introduce its second innovative Nova-class ship, Silver Ray, joining sister ship Silver Nova, which launched in April 2023.
Both ships feature a revolutionary asymmetrical design, offering more space and better sea views! Although the two new ships are the largest in the Silversea fleet, they are still regarded as smaller cruise ships, each only accommodating up to 728 passengers. Disney Treasure
Finally, here's one for the kids and those adults who love Disney too! Disney Treasure will become the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet of impressive ships.
The magical new cruise line will have an Aladdin-inspired atrium, which will perfectly with the ships name. The atrium will be adorn by bronze figures of Aladdin, Princess Jasmine and of course a magic carpet too!
