Ambassador Cruise Line, the UK’s leading premium value, no-fly cruise line, celebrated another historic occasion, when its two ships met for the first time.
The 1,400-passenger Ambience, and 1,200-passenger Ambition, met in the English Channel on the afternoon of 15 May 2023, with passengers and crew lining the decks to witness the event.
Ambience, the flagship of the cruise line, was completing a 32-night round-trip cruise to the Mediterranean, returning to her homeport of London Tilbury, whilst her new sister ship, Ambition was on the third day of its 14-night maiden voyage, visiting France and Spain.
The next time the two ships are scheduled to meet again is in 2024, during the cruise line’s 80th D-Day Anniversary sailings. Ambition will sail a 6-night cruise departing from Bristol Royal Portbury, whilst her largest sister Ambience will is offering a 13-night voyage from London Tilbury.
