SeaDream Yacht Club’s twin yachts have been honored as two of the best cruise ships in the world in the prestigious 2023 World Cruise Awards. SeaDream II is named 'World’s Best Small Cruise Ship' and SeaDream I 'Best Cruise Ship for Romance'.
The World Cruise Awards are recognized globally for celebrating the world's most remarkable cruise experiences. Each award is voted for by cruise professionals, media, and consumers worldwide.

The 58,250 gross tonne Spirit of Adventure has arrived in Emden, Germany having successfully completed its conveyance of the Ems River from the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg.
Spirit of Adventure is the second brand new cruise ship built at Meyer Werft shipyard for Saga Cruises, following the launch in Spirit of Discovery in 2019.

Virgin Voyages, the new cruise brand that is shaking up the travel industry, has announced its second cruise ship Captain, who will join the company.
Earlier this year, Virgin Voyages announced that Captain Wendy Williams will be first to command the cruise line’s first ship, Scarlet Lady. Captain Williams will be joined by Captain Marco Carsjen, who most recently worked for Holland America Line. 
Virgin Voyages, the new cruise brand that is shaking up the travel industry, has unveiled pieces from its stylish new uniform collection designed by maverick British fashion designer Gareth Pugh.
The company’s first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady is currently under construction at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The adults-only ship is expected to enter service in April 2020. The 2,770-passenger ship will be exclusively for adults only and cruise from Miami. 
Virgin Voyages has released new cruise itineraries for its first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady, for the autumn and winter 2020-2021 season.

Scarlet Lady is just the first of fourth ground-breaking cruise ships which Virgin Voyages has ordered from the shipyard. Construction of the 110,000 gross tonne ship is progressing well, ahead of its delivery date in 2020. The ship has recently had its stern painted bright red, with the Virgin logo added as well as the ship's name. 
Virgin Voyages has released several designs and images of their RockStar Suites. The exciting brand new, game-changer cruise line is throwing out traditional clichés on luxury and formalities, instead bringing Rebellious Luxe to life at sea with their RockStar Suites designed by Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio as the pinnacle of that experience.
Virgin Voyages first ship, Scarlet Lady, set to debut in 2020, will feature a total of 78 RockStar Suites, all located on the top decks and will feature private balconies. The RockStar Suites have been designed to maximize ocean views and many will have ‘peek-a-boo’ showers with an inset window overlooking the ocean. The suite accommodations will feature mood lighting that automatically adjusts throughout the day. 
Virgin Voyages has announced that bookings for the inaugural season of its first cruise ship, Scarlet Lady, will go on sale on 14 February 2019.
Cruise itineraries are still yet to be announced but Virgin Voyages has confirmed that the ship will home port from Miami and cruise to Havana, Cuba. The ship will sail from a custom-built state-of-the-art cruise terminal to be construction at PortMiami.
