Thomson Cruises has announced that Thomson Spirit will continue sailing with the cruise line for another year, due to popular customer demand, according to the cruise line.
Thomson Spirit will cruise from Palma De Mallorca in April 2018 and Malaga from May 2018. Cruises will visit the Mediterranean, visiting ports of call such as Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, Tarragona, Mahon and Roses.

Thomson Cruises has announced that its next new cruise ship is to be named TUI Explorer. The ship will join the fleet in May 2018 and will operate cruises from Palma de Mallorca.
The 1,924-passenger TUI Explorer was originally launched in 1996 as Celebrity Galaxy. Currently the vessel is known as Mein Schiff 1. The cruise ship Thomson Majesty is to transfer to the Celestyal Cruises fleet in January 2018 and will become Celestyal Majesty.
The ship has been on charter to Thomson Cruises since 2012 but will leave the Thomson Cruises fleet on 26 November 2017. Before transferring to the Celestyal Cruises fleet, the 40,900 gross tonne ship will undergo a refurbishment. Thomson Cruise has announced its summer 2018 cruise programme, unveiling that TUI Discovery will be based in the United Kingdom for the first time.
The 69,130 gross tonne cruise ship will homeport from Newcastle in May 2018. The ship will offer cruises to the Norwegian Fjords and Baltic, including overnight stays in St Petersburg. Thomson Cruises has announced that three of its ships will cruise the Caribbean during the winter 2017/2018 cruise season.
