British-based cruise line, Cruise & Maritime Voyages has announced two new additional departure ports from the United Kingdom for its 2018 cruise programme. The cruise line’s smallest ship, the 550-passenger Astoria, will offer cruises from Poole and Portsmouth. With the addition of these two news departure ports, Cruise & Maritime Voyages now offer cruises from sixteen different ports across the United Kingdom. Astoria will offer four different cruise itineraries from Poole, departing in August and September 2018. Cruises range in duration from an overnight mini cruise around the Isle of Wight to Portsmouth, to a twelve-night cruise around the British Isles. A three-night weekend cruise offers the chance to see the Bournemouth International Airshow and cruises to Honfleur and Rouen in France, whilst a ten-night cruise will explore Norway and the majestic fjords.
Five different cruises will depart from Portsmouth, in September and October 2018, ranging from nine to fourteen-nights. A nine-night cruise sails to the fjords of Norway with a visit to Rotterdam and Amsterdam too, whilst another nine-night cruise visits the cities of northern Europe and cruises the Kiel Canal. One of two thirteen-night cruises heads to the Baltic with an overnight stay in St Petersburg. The other thirteen-night cruise will sail around the British Isles. The last cruise on Astoria with Cruise & Maritime Voyages is a fourteen-night cruise, departing Portsmouth of 17 October 2018. The Northern Lights cruises includes a variety of ports of call in Norway. The new cruise itineraries are currently on sale as part of Cruise & Maritime Voyages’ Buy One Get One Free promotion, which ends on 31 May 2017.
