​Azamara Pursuit Departs Southampton On Maiden Voyage

Azamara Pursuit has departed Southampton on its maiden voyage following a multi-million pound refurbishment in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
 
The ship which was formerly operated by P&O Cruises as Adonia transferred to the Azamara Club Cruises fleet earlier this year and spent three months at the Harland & Wolff shipyard.

The maiden voyage of Azamara Pursuit is a 12-night cruise to Norwegian Fjords. The ship will visit Oslo, Kristiansand, Haugesund, Eidfjord, Bergen, Flam and Stavanger before returning to Southampton.
 
Azamara Club Cruises spent approximately £50 million on refurbishing the vessel before it entered service. More than 800 people who involved in project. Azamara Pursuit was also the first luxury cruise ship to ever be refurbished at the shipyard in Belfast.
 
The official naming of Azamara Pursuit will take place in Southampton on 28 August 2018. It will be the first time that Azamara Club Cruises has officially named a new ship.
