Carnival Cruise Line has announced the name of its next new Vista-class cruise ship, which is scheduled to be launch in November 2019.
The 133,500 gross tonne ship will be named Carnival Panorama, joining sister ships Carnival Horizon, set to launch in April 2018 and Carnival Vista which entered service in 2016.
Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line, said: “Carnival Panorama is the perfect name to reflect the design inspiration of our Vista-class ships providing more venues and opportunities to connect with the sea. Carnival Panorama will offer a wide variety of fun indoor and outdoor experiences along with exciting one-of-a-kind features that will provide our guests with a lifetime of wonderful vacation memories.”
Like her sister ships, Carnival Panorama is being constructed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy. Further details about the ship, its itineraries and homeport will be announced at a later date.
Carnival Cruise Line have a further two new ships on order, which will be their largest ships yet at 180,000 gross tonnes and are expected for delivery in spring 2020 and 2022.
