Carnival Cruise Line’s 1991-built Carnival Ecstasy has emerged from dry dock following a multi-million dollar refurbishment, which saw various new dining and beverage venues added to the ship.

The 2,056-passenger Carnival Ecstasy spent two weeks in dry dock in Freeport, Bahamas from 10 January – 24 January 2017.

Amongst the new dining venues added to the ship is Guy’s Burger Joint and Bluelguana Cantina, both of which are complimentary poolside eateries. Guy’s Burger Joint serves hand-made burgers and fresh-cut fries, whilst freshly made burritos, tacos and homemade tortillas are on offer at the Bluelguana Cantina, as well as a salad bar.

Also added to the ship is what is described as a ‘cocktail pharmacy’ themed lounge. Mixologists in the new Alchemy Bar ‘prescribe’ various concoctions from different elixirs and ingredients with creative names like Forty is the New Twenty and The Restorative Basil Drop.

Cheery On Top is perfect for those with a sweet tooth, offering bins of bulk candy, fun gifts and novelties.

Carnival Ecstasy operates year-round from Charleston offering four to seven-day cruises visiting The Bahamas and the Caribbean.
