Costa Cruises has announced that its oldest cruise ship in the fleet, Costa neoClassica has been sold and will be leaving the fleet in March 2018.
The 1,300-passenger cruise ship was launched in 1991. Costa Cruises did not state who the ship had been sold to.
Costa Cruises also confirmed that Costa Victoria will return to Europe in March 2018, leaving the Chinese Cruise market. Costa neoRiviera will take over Costa neoClassica’s cruise intinaries with Costa Victoria taking over Costa neoRiveria’s.
Costa Victoria will drydock before returning to Europe and cruising the Mediterranean, offering seven-night cruises with calls to Savona, Olbia, Minorca, Ibiza (overnight), Palma de Mallorca and Tarragona (overnight).
