Royal Caribbean International’s fifth Oasis-class cruise ship is not due to launch until 2021 but the name of the ship is already being questioned.
According to a number of cruise related websites, the name for the future Royal Caribbean International cruise ship could be Melody of the Seas. The cruise line is yet to make an official announcement and is unlikely to do so for some time as yet.
The fifth Oasis-class ship will be a sister to Symphony of the Seas which will join the Royal Caribbean International fleet in April 2018. She will also be a sister ship to Harmony of the Seas which launched in 2016 and the older Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas.
The name of the yet to launch fourth Oasis-class ship, Symphony of the Seas was leaked before Royal Caribbean International officially announced the name. Construction of the fifth Oasis-class cruise ship has not yet started at the STX shipyard in France.
