Royal Caribbean International’s forth Oasis-class ship is yet to be named by the cruise line but one of its biggest partners FlowRider has possibly leaked the name of the new ship before the cruise line have officially announced it.
FlowRider is the company which construct the surfing simulators on board Royal Caribbean International’s cruise ship. 16 FlowRiders have been custom built for the cruise line in the past ten year, with two more to be fitted to the fourth Oasis-class ship.
In a blog post on the official website for FlowRider, the fourth Oasis-class ship is mentioned and referred to as Symphony of the Seas, which is due to launch in Spring 2018.
The 227,625 gross tonne ship is currently under construction at the STX shipyard in France. It will become the largest cruise ship in the world when it launches in 2018, carrying up to 6,780 passengers.
