The three Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines ships, Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral, docked alongside each other in Funchal, Maderia, for the Fleet in Funchal celebration.
The cruise line, which is marking its 175th year, celebrated its fleet coming together on 09 November 2023. Guests on board the trio of smaller ships took part in a series of hand-craft events, which enabled guests to get the most out of their visit to the beautiful garden island.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ entertainers performed song and dance routines on the quayside next to the three ships, along with crew competitions, which created a vibrant carnival atmosphere in the port.
Guests sailing on board Bolette, Borealis and Balmoral also had the opportunity to step aboard and explore the other ships, meeting crew and celebrating with fellow travellers sailing with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines.
Bolette is on a 15-night sailing, visiting Spain and Portugal, Balmoral is on a 15-night sailing visiting the Canary Islands, Spain, and Portugal, whilst Borealis is on a 14-night sailing from Liverpool visiting the Azores and Portugal.
At the end of the day the three ships will take part in a sail away party at sunset.
