Further Details of Icon of the Seas expected in Episode 2 of “Making an Icon”

Royal Caribbean International is expected to premiere episode 2 of its "Making an Icon" series of online monthly videos, featuring the cruise line’s brand-new ship, Icon of the Seas.
 
Little is known about the ship, which is currently under construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. Icon of the Seas, which is expected to be the world’s largest cruise set, is scheduled to enter service in Autumn 2023.

The first episode of Royal Caribbean International’s “Making an Icon” was released in August 2022, with a look at the cruise line’s journey to create the world’s greatest vacation, Icon of the Seas. Industrial engineers, interior designers, architects, artists, teams across entertainment and food and beverage, and more took you behind the scenes to see all that goes into envisioning, designing, and constructing the soon-to-be-revealed cruise ship.
 
Episode 2 is expected to premiere on Thursday 22 September 2022 at 15:00 GMT, when further details about the high anticipated new cruise ship are to be revealed.
 
In each episode leading up to the launch in 2023, you’re invited to watch the cruise line’s drive and unparalleled innovation at work as experts from Miami, Turku, Finland; New York
