G Adventures has acquired the cruise brand, Swan Hellenic, after the cruise line's parent company, All Leisure Group, went into administration in January 2017, affecting around 13,000 passengers. G Adventures also acquired Travelsphere and Just You, two others brands which were also part of the All Leisure Group. The 335-passenger Minerva, the cruise ship which operated under the Swan Hellenic brand was not purchased by G Adventures, as the ship was chartered. Minerva has been returned to its owner.
Swan Hellenic cruises are to set sail in 2018, with cruise itineraries going on sale for bookings in summer 2017. It is not known what ship the cruises will be offered on. John Walker, Vice President, Global Sales, G Adventures, said: “We know how beloved Swan Hellenic is to its loyal customer base and respect it has in the British travel community. Our long-term aim is to re-launch Swan Hellenic and re-establish the award-winning values that make it so well-loved.” Those who had booked on Swan Hellenic’s 2017 itineraries are advised to contact the administrators, Grant Thornton LLP.

We would be very interested in going of further Swan Hellenic type cruses, especially those non-fly cruises going from and back to UK ports.

As a longtime past passenger, I am looking forward to the 2018 re-launch, though it would be rather sad not to have the "Minerva" as the primary vessel for Swan-Hellenic. Kindly send details on pending voyages when available.

Please keep me informed of Swan Hellenic type cruises. I am sad about the loss of Minerva.
