During a recent visit to Charleston in South Carolina, one of the lifeboats on board Royal Caribbean International’s Grandeur of the Seas fell into the water, resulting in the lifeboat tipping upside down.
No one was in the lifeboat at the time of the incident and there are no reported injuries to passengers or crew. Photos of the overturned lifeboat were posted on the Facebook group ‘We Love Royal Caribbean International’, a fan group for the cruise line.
The 73,817 gross tonne Grandeur of the Seas is currently on a nine-night cruise, which departed Baltimore on 14 January 2017.
Royal Caribbean International is yet to comment on the incident which took place.
