MSC Cruises has revealing details of the first-ever Swarovski crystal cabin on any cruise ship at sea.
The cruise line’s newest ship, MSC Bellissima, which launched in March 2019, will soon feature the world’s first cabin, adorned with sparkling Swarovski crystals.
The cabin, 16,018 which is in the all-inclusive MSC Yacht Club will be redesigned and available for bookings from mid-November 2019. On the cabin door will be a crystallized cabin number.
The cabin will feature approximately 700,000 crystals, including crystallized furniture, such as the bedside tables, sideboard and coffee table.
MSC Cruises have worked in partnership with Swarovski for ten years. In 2008 the MSC Fantasia was the first ship in the fleet to feature the now iconic Swarovski staircase in the atrium. MSC Bellissima also features a glittering crystal staircase, with 96-steps and over 61,000 crystals.
The Yacht Club is an exclusive, all-inclusive club on board MSC Cruises ships and includes 24-hour butler service and even a private pool, lounge and restaurant. Suite 16,018 will be priced similarly to the other suites but will need to be booked early to avoid disappointment due to popular demand.
