MSC Cruises has opened sales for the inaugural season of its first Seaside EVO ship, MSC Seashore which will launch in 2021.
The 5,632 -passenger cruise ship will spent its inaugural season cruising the Western Mediterranean. Departing in June 2021, MSC Seashore will sail a seven-night itinerary visiting Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina and Valletta.
Sales open exclusively for MSC Voyagers Club members from 26 June 2019. All other guests will be able to book onto the new ship from 11 July 2019.
MSC Seashore is the first of two Seaside EVO ships ordered by MSC Cruises. The design of the two new ships offers extended public spaces, more staterooms and the highest ratio of outdoor space per passenger of any ship in the fleet. The 169,400 gross tonne ships will be constructed by Fincantieri. The vessels will measure 339 metres long, 41 metres wide and 74 metres tall. The construction of each vessel will require over 10 million man hours. MSC Seashore will become the 19th ship in the MSC Cruises fleet. The second Seaside EVO ships will launch in autumn 2022. Gianni Onorato, Chief Executive Officer, MSC Cruises, said: “Each and every ship that we build is different. MSC Seashore is an evolution of the ground-breaking Seaside prototype but this enriched ship has allowed us to further enhance the guest experience with the introduction of new features and facilities as well as some further improvement of the existing ones. With an increased capacity and expanded facilities, MSC Seashore will offer guests myriad opportunities to get closer to the sea, providing yet more options for vacationers to enjoy the beauty of the Mediterranean when the ship comes into service.” The enlarged size of the ship has allowed for public spaces to be expanded and redesigned. New public areas have also been added, including a two-deck high show lounge below the aft pool. The indoor pool area on Deck 18 has been extended with an additional deck. The size of the kids’ area has also been increased as well as the waterpark. An additional new main restaurant has been added and a brand new restaurant will be introduced for Aurea guests. Deck 8 will feature new locations for speciality restaurants, whilst the buffet has been moved to Deck 16. The new location of the speciality restaurant on Deck 8 will offer seating outside on the waterfront. New stateroom designed will also be introduced, including family friendly connecting staterooms. The MSC Yacht Club will offer a new suite category, featuring a walk-in wardrobe. The ships will also feature two more luxury suites with whirlpool baths
