MSC Grandiosa To Be Christened In Hamburg

MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Grandiosa will be christened in Hamburg, Germany in November 2019.
 
The announcement was made on 29 April 2018 when MSC Meraviglia made her maiden call into Hamburg to commence her new season in Northern Europe.

MSC Grandiosa will be the first of two Meraviglia-Plus class cruise ships built for MSC Cruises. These two new vessels build upon the success of the Meravliglia class ships and will offers even more public spaces, along with a series of exciting innovations. 
 
MSC Grandiosa and her sister ship, due for delivery in 2020, will be 16 metres longer than MSC Bellisima and MSC Meraviglia. The 177,000 gross tonne MSC Grandiosa will become the new flagship of the MSC Cruises fleet when it launches in November 2019. The ship will accommodate up to 6,300 passengers.

MSC Grandiosa will be the first MSC Cruises ship to be christened in Germany since the christening of MSC Magnifica in 2010.
