MSC Meraviglia has successfully completed her second sea trails. The new cruise ship which is due to join the MSC Cruises fleet in June 2017 has been constructed at the STX shipyard in St Nazaire, France.
The 167,000 gross tonne MSC Meraviglia is 315 metres long, 43 metres wide, 65 metres high and can accommodate 5,700 passengers.
During the second sea trails off the coast of France various tests were carried out. These included testing the ships propulsion systems, stabilizers and anchors.
MSC Meraviglia will be officially christened in Le Harve in France on 03 June 2017. The ship will spend the summer of 2017 sailing the Mediterranean.
