​New Details Revealed For 9,500-Passenger Global Class Cruise Ship

Dream Cruises has revealed more detailed about its 204,000 gross tonne Global Class cruise ship, set to launch in 2020.
 
The vessel is currently under construction at the MV Werften shipyard in Germany. When launched, the cruise ship will be the second largest class in the world, only rivalled by Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis Class.

The Global Class however will have a much higher passenger capacity. The ship will have 2,503 cabins, accommodation 5,000-passenger at double occupancy but a maximum passenger capacity of up to 9,500!
 
The ship will have the largest cabins in the industry at 20 square meters. Every regular cabin will be able to accommodate up to four people. The bathroom is uniquely designed a separated into two separate rooms, one with a shower, the other with the toilet. The cabins will all feature a fold out sofa bed and privacy curtain between the lounge and bedroom.
 
Cabins will feature state-of-the-art technology, including Bluetooth locks and LED controllable mood light and climate control. Passengers can use an app, voice recognition or a touch screen in the cabin.
 
The Global class cruise ship will also feature a multitude of amenities, including a theme park with a full size roller coaster with virtual reality experience! Other amenities will include a Cineplex, an Asia and western style spa, multiple retails outlets, water park and water slides, swimming pools, sports courts, fitness centre, theatre, a private suites-only deck and countless bars and restaurants. To help with the flow of passengers the ship will also have escalators.
 
The new ship will be showcased around the world. The summer 2020 season will see the ship cruising out of Shanghai and Tianjin in China. Later in the year it will offer cruises from Australia and New Zealand before being deployed in the United States in winter.
 
A second such sister ship is also planned which is expected to launch and join the Dream Cruises fleet in 2021.
