Royal Caribbean International’s newest cruise ship, Odyssey of the Seas is to homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2020.
The ship, the second Quantum-Ultra class for the cruise line, will sail on its inaugural cruise from Port Everglades on 05 November 2020.
The new ship will then offer a series of eight and six-night Caribbean cruises, including visits to Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Perfect Day at CocoCay.
Odyssey of the Seas will also be the first Quantum-Ultra class ship to call on Aruba and Curacao as part of its eight-night cruise itineraries. From summer 2021, Odyssey of the Seas will offer cruises in Europe. The 168,666 gross tonne ship is currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Royal Caribbean International will announce new experience to be found on board Odyssey of the Seas at a later date. The new ship will offer a number of features and activities found on Quantum class ships, including, RipCord by iFLY, North Star, Two70 and SeaPlex

Great move! Having the Odyssey of the Seas homeport in Fort Lauderdale means easier access to stunning Caribbean cruises and a more convenient departure point for travelers.
