Royal Caribbean International has taken delivery of its latest brand new cruise ship, Spectrum of the Seas.
The delivery ceremony took place at Bremerhaven, Germany on 11 April 2019. The brand new 169,300 gross tonne ship was officially handed over to the cruise line from the Meyer Werft shipyard.
Spectrum of the Seas is the first Quantum-Ultra class cruise ship to be built for Royal Caribbean International and has been specifically designed for the Chinese cruise market. The new ship will accommodate up to 5,622 guests, in some 2,137 staterooms.
Before arriving in Asia Spectrum of the Seas will offer a 16-night cruise from Barcelona, Spain departing on 18 April 2019 which will sail to Dubai via the Suez Canal. A 14-night cruise will sail from Dubai to Singapore on 04 May 2019.
