​Royal Caribbean Reveal New Details About Spectrum Of The Seas

Royal Caribbean International has revealed further details about its first Quantum-Ultra ship, Spectrum of the Seas which is due to launch in spring 2019.
 
The 168,666 gross tonne cruise ship currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany is being specifically designed for the Asian cruise market.

The new ship will accommodate up to 5,622 guests, in some 2,137 staterooms. Spectrum of the Seas will feature an Ultimate Family Suite as well as two-deck Golden Suites and luxury Gold and Silver Suites which will have private access to 2 restaurants, 2 lounges, The Balcony, The Boutique and a private Solarium. The two-deck high suites will be located in the new ‘Suite Neighbourhood’ on Deck 15 & 16.
 
Features on the new ship will include amenities from the Quantum Class ships, such as the Two70, SeaPlex, North Star and Ripcord by iFLY. In addition to these Spectrum of the Seas will also feature Sky Pad on the back deck next to the Flowrider surf simulator, with a glass floored walkway leading to it extending over the portside of the ship.
 
Spectrum of the Seas will boast seven complimentary dining venues and 12 signature specialty restaurants, including favourites such as Chops Grille, Jamie’s Italian and Wonderland. Other amenities include the Royal Theatre, Casino, Rock Climbing Wall, Spa and Fitness Centre, Adventure Ocean Youth Area and many other exciting venues.
 
Spectrum of the Seas is due to debut in spring 2019. Royal Caribbean International has released new sailings from Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai (Baoshan). Before arriving in Asia Spectrum of the Seas will offer a 16-night cruise from Barcelona, Spain departing on 18 April 2019 which will sail to Dubai via the Suez Canal. A 14-night cruise will sail from Dubai to Singapore on 04 May 2019.
