The new ultra-luxury cruise ship, Seabourn Ovation which is due to launch in April 2018, will spend her debut season cruising the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. Seabourn has announced that the maiden voyage of the new 40,350 gross tonne ship will depart Venice on 05 May 2018. The 35-day cruise will visit 27 ports of call, including Dubrovnik, Valletta, Barcelona and the Isles of Scilly and Dartmouth in the United Kingdom. The cruise will end in Amsterdam. From Amsterdam and 14-day cruise to Copenhagen will depart and include ports of call in Germany, Poland, Sweden and Finland as well as a transit of the Kiel Canal. The ship will also offer cruises to St Petersburg and Norway.
A 14-day or 21-day cruise will visits ports of call in the United Kingdom, including Newcastle, Newhaven, Invergordon, Scrabster, and Lerwick. A 30-day cruise which departs Copenhagen on 01 September 2018 includes ports of call in Norway such as Alesund, Tromso, Olden and Bergen. The cruise also has numerous ports of call in the United Kingdom including Portland, Falmouth, Fishguard, Liverpool, Killybegs, Belfast, Great Yarmouth, and concluding in Dover. Seabourn Ovation will then return to the Mediterranean offering cruises from Venice around to Adriatic Sea and Greek Isles. The ship’s winter deployment is yet to be announced.
