The brand new ultra-luxury cruise ship, Silver Moon, has successfully completed its sea trials off the coast of Italy in the Adriatic Sea.
The ship underwent twelve days of tests whilst at sea, including stability, vibration and noise tests as well as the inspection of public spaces on board.
A reduced number of crew were on board during the sea trials, in order to meet precautionary health protocols, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Silver Moon has now returned to the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste, Italy. The new ship is expected to be delivered to the cruise line on 30 October 2020. It will be the second ship delivered to Silversea Cruises this year.
