Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection is to launch a new river cruise brand to appeal to younger travellers. To be known as U by Uniworld, the brand will aim to attract 18-40 year old cruisers and will offer more adventurous experiences and modern décor and lively on board atmosphere.

We are targeting an active traveller between the ages of 18 and 40, with everything from the décor, dining and cocktail service to the land activities thoughtfully curated to appeal to, and meet the needs of, this audience.”
Two of Uniworld’s existing river cruise ships, the River Baroness and River Ambassador will undergo a complete refurbishment. Both of the ships will features modern décor and interiors, a new culinary programmes, drink mixologists and live DJs.
Itineraries for the refurbished ships will include longer stays in port, allowing guest to go ashore in the day and evening. U by Uniworld cruises will go on sale in March 2017 with the first cruise departing in early 2018.
