Viking Ocean Cruises has announced a 245 day world cruise on Viking Sun. The eight month cruise will visit six continents, 59 countries, 113 ports, including 22 overnight stays.
The 930-guest Viking Sun will depart from London on 31 August 2019. The cruise will be the third world cruise which Viking Ocean Cruises have offered but almost double the length of the previous world cruises.
Guests will have the option to cruise one of two, shorter cruise segments on the 245 day world cruise. The first segment is a 127-day cruise from London to Los Angeles, visiting 33 countries and 61 ports. The second departs Los Angeles and returns to London and will visit 29 countries and 55 ports during the 119 days.
Torstein Hagen, Chairman, Viking Ocean Cruises, said: “For more than 20 years we have been offering guests the most culturally immersive journeys available in the industry and we are pleased to announce the most extensive itinerary in our history. Our World Cruises offer guests the rare opportunity to unpack once and explore dozens of the best destinations on earth – at a value that is unprecedented in the travel industry."
The world cruise starts from £66,990 per person.
