Britain’s newest cruise operator, Ambassador Cruise Line, is gearing up the celebrate the official launch of its second ship, Ambition.
Originally built in 1999, the 41,123 gross tonne ship has undergone a full refurbishment at the Bremerhaven shipyard in Germany, ahead of its first voyage with Ambassador Cruise Line. The upgrades took six weeks to complete, and included painting the ships new livery and the installation of state-of-the-art environmental features.

The Italian cruise line, Costa Cruises has begun resuming its cruise operations, with Costa Deliziosa departing on a seven-night itinerary from Trieste, Italy on 06 September 2020.
Costa Deliziosa will call into Italian ports only during the week long cruise, including Bari, Brindisi, Corigliano-Rossano, Siracusa and Catania.
The latest additional to the Celestyal Cruises fleet, the 53,049 gross tonne Celestyal Experience, has been given its new livery whilst docked in Piraeus, Greece.
The ship transferred to the cruise line from Carnival Corporation’s Costa Cruises brand earlier this summer. Built in 1993 and launched as Costa Romantica, the ship was later extensively refurbished in November 2011 and named Costa neoRomantica.

Meyer Werft has laid the keel of AIDA Cruises’ second 183,900 gross tonne cruise ship, AIDAcosma.
The first building-block was lowered into the dry dock at the Neptun Werft shipyard in Rostock, Germany on 15 October 2019.
