MSC Cruises has announced a partnership with Chelsea Football Club. The cruise line will become the official global cruise partner of the football club.
The multi-million-pound partnership will also extend to LED perimeter advertising, VIP hospitality, star player engagement as well as a dedicated digital marketing presence. It will commence in January 2019 and will run until June 2021.

100 Days Until Launch Of MSC Bellissima, MSC Cruises Reveal Further Details Of Guest Experience22/11/2018
The 100 day countdown to the launch of MSC Bellissima began with the new MSC Cruises flagship to be named in Southampton, UK on 02 March 2019.
With a maximum capacity of 5,686 guests and gross tonnage of 171,598, MSC Bellissima will be the biggest ship to be named in Southampton and will certainly live up to her name meaning “most beautiful” by offering guests a beautiful and memorable cruise experience.
MSC Cruises latest new cruise ship, the 154,000 gross tonne MSC Seaview was delivered to the cruise line on 04 June 2018. The ship is the third new ship to join the MSC Cruises fleet in the last twelve months.
The christening ceremony for MSC Seaview took place in Genoa, Italy on 09 June 2018. The innovative new ship was christened by Godmother, 83-year old Sophia Loren.
The delivery of MSC Cruises latest new cruise ship, the 154,000 gross tonne MSC Seaview has been delayed in order to allow the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy a little extra time to complete the ship.
The 5,179-passenger MSC Seaview is the second cruise ship in MSC Cruises new Seaside-Class of prototype cruise ships and will become the fifteenth ship in the fleet when it officially launches.
MSC Cruises 5,714-passenger MSC Meraviglia is to feature on an hour-long episode of the UK TV series Building Giants on More4.
The episode featuring the MSC Cruises flagship will air on 07 May 2018 at 9pm. The ship arrived in Southampton for the first time on 26 April 2018 and has since visited ports of call in Scotland and this bank holiday weekend will visit Dublin and Cobh in Ireland.
MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Grandiosa will be christened in Hamburg, Germany in November 2019.
The announcement was made on 29 April 2018 when MSC Meraviglia made her maiden call into Hamburg to commence her new season in Northern Europe.
MSC Cruises’ 167,600 gross tonne MSC Meraviglia made its maiden call into Southampton on 26 April 2018 during a repositing cruise from Genova, Italy to Hamburg, Germany.
The 5,714-passenger ship was launched in June 2017 and is currently the largest cruise ship in the MSC Cruises fleet and one of the largest ever to visit Southampton.
The 154,000 gross tonne MSC Seaview which is being constructed at the Fincanteri shipyard in Monfalcone, Italy set sail from the shipyard to undergo sea trials on 23 April 2018.
The new ship, which is the second Seaside-class ship to be built at the shipyard for MSC Cruises, is expected to be at sea for five days before it arrives back at the shipyard on 28 April 2018.

The 171,000 gross tonne ship which will carry up to 5,700 passengers will be the largest ship ever to be christened in the United Kingdom. The ceremony will take place on 02 March 2019.
MSC Cruises has announced that MSC Meraviglia, which launched in June 2017 will offer cruises from New York.
The 4,475-passenger MSC Meraviglia currently cruises the Meditterean but will head to North America in October 2019. The ship will arrive in New York for the first time on 07 October 2019. |
