Royal Caribbean International’s newest cruise ship, Odyssey of the Seas is to homeport at Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2020.
The ship, the second Quantum-Ultra class for the cruise line, will sail on its inaugural cruise from Port Everglades on 05 November 2020.

Royal Caribbean International has announced that its 1992-built cruise ship, Majesty of the Seas, will offer year round cruise from New Orleans.
The 2,767-passenger ship will begin sailing from New Orleans in January 2020. The ship will homeport here until April 2021 and offer week-long cruise itineraries.

The French shipyard, Chantiers de l'Atlantique has cut the steel of the fifth Oasis-class ship for Royal Caribbean International.
The steel cutting marks the official start of construction for the yet to be named new vessel, which is scheduled to be delivered to the cruise line in 2021.
Royal Caribbean International has taken delivery of its latest brand new cruise ship, Spectrum of the Seas.
The delivery ceremony took place at Bremerhaven, Germany on 11 April 2019. The brand new 169,300 gross tonne ship was officially handed over to the cruise line from the Meyer Werft shipyard.
Royal Caribbean International is known of its innovative feature on board its cruise ship but the cruise line has temporarily closed its Sky Pad, following a lawsuit.
Sky Pad is a feature on board two of the cruise line’s ships and cruise line’s soon to launch Spectrum of the Seas. The attraction is a bungee-attached trampoline paired with virtual reality headsets and was first introduced to Royal Caribbean International’s ships in 2018 on board Independence of the Seas following a refurbishment.
Royal Caribbean International’s 225,282 gross tonne cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas, is to head to Cadiz to undergo repairs and continue planned maintenance and refurbishment work, following a incident at the Grand Bahama shipyard.
On 01 April 2019, a crane on the floating dry dock which the ship was in collapsed onto the stern of the vessel, coming to rest on the Aqua Theatre. The ship was damaged slightly and the floating dry dock also received structural damage as a result.
