Celebrity Cruises was the presenting sponsor for Miami Gay Pride for the second year in a row and is the first and only cruise line to sponsor the event.
This year’s three day event took place between 06 April and 08 April 2018. The Miami Beach Gay Pride Festival and Parade sees well over 130,000 people in attendance every year on the city’s South Beach.

The cruise line is the first and only cruise line to sponsor the event. This year’s three day event will take place between 06 April and 08 April 2018. 
On 28 February 2018, Celebrity Cruises revealed further details about its new ship Celebrity Edge, during a live press conference in New York.
The event was focused around the culinary delights that the new ship has in store for passengers. A new rendering of the ship was also released, which shows the ship in a new livery. 
Celebrity Cruises celebrated another milestone in the construction of its new ship, Celebrity Edge when it was floated out of the dry dock for the first time on 23rd January 2018.
Celebrity Edge is the first new class of ships for Celebrity Cruises in 10 years and is currently under construction at the STX France shipyard in Saint-Nazaire. 
Celebrity Cruises has announced that its innovative and ground-breaking new ship, Celebrity Edge is going to debut earlier than originally expected.
Construction of the new ship at the STX shipyard in France is going so well that Celebrity Cruises are planning to launch the ship earlier than planned, adding a number of new cruises. 
Celebrity Cruises has revealed more details about its upcoming new cruise ship, Celebrity Edge, which is currently under construction in France, at the STX shipyard in St Nazaire. The new ship is expected to launch in December 2018.
At an event held in New York City on 27 June 2017, Celebrity Cruises revealed details about another innovative space on board Celebrity Edge. 
Cruise Cruises is expected to reveal more details about their new cruise ship, Celebrity Edge, which is currently under construction in France, at the STX shipyard. Celebrity Cruises revealed details about the 129,500 gross tonne cruise ship in March 2017, during an event in Miami, where Nate Berkus, Design Ambassador as well as Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President & CEO, Celebrity Cruises and Richard D. Fain, Chairman & CEO, Royal Caribbean Cruises addressed an audience and live streamed the reveal to the world.  The construction of the revolutionary new cruise ship for Celebrity Cruises, Celebrity Edge, has reached a milestone at the STX shipyard in St Nazaire, France. The first block of the ship’s keel has been lowered into the dry dock. The 875-tone section is the first of many which will make up the new cruise ship.  Celebrity Cruises has unveiled designs of its new Edge-Class cruise ships. The first ship in the new class, Celebrity Edge is expected to launch in December 2018, followed by Celebrity Beyond in March 2020. Two further ships will follow in 2021 and 2022. The new ships will be 129,500 gross tonnes and accommodate 2,918 guests at double occupancy or 3,373 at full capacity. They will measure over 300 metres in length and 39 metres wide.  Celebrity Cruises is expected to announce further details about its new Edge-class cruise ships, following the announcement of a partnership with the designer, Nate Berkus. He is to become the Design Ambassador for the new class of ships. He will be co-hosting a series of reveal events, joined by Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President & CEO, Celebrity Cruises and Richard D. Fain, Chairman & CEO, Royal Caribbean Cruises, which is the parent company that owns Celebrity Cruises.  |
