I’m so excited to be given the opportunity to join a small group of selected guests to step on board the classic little gem of a cruise ship, Aegean Odyssey, which is operated by Voyages to Antiquity.
Carrying around 350 passengers she’s a much smaller ship than many of the newer more modern cruise ships built today but from what I’ve already know of the ship she’s still just as special if not even more so!
I’ll be stepped aboard the ship with Gavin in London, Tilbury on 08 August 2017. We were due to visit earlier this year but the originally visit was postponed. Nevertheless Voyages to Antiquity has still kindly agreed to welcome us on board.
We’re expected to board around 11:00 and will then enjoy welcome drinks in the Observation Lounge on board before touring the ship and disembarking later in the afternoon. Whilst on board we will hopefully be meeting with the Managing Director of Voyages to Antiquity Jos Dewing as well as the Captain. I’ll then have the opportunity to present my detailed drawing of the wonderful Aegean Odyssey to them. I really am looking forward to learning more about Voyages to Antiquity and see what the beautiful, small and classic ship has to offer!
