Before boarding Albatros, they had the honour of meeting with, James Cole, Harwich & District, Town Crier, who took a moment to have a number of photographs taken with our drawing of Ablatros. Harry and his father then entered the cruise terminal, where they were given their passes and then directed through the security check-in area, before making their way aboard Albatros. Once aboard, they were met by the ship's Security Officer, who radioed through to the bridge to let the Captain know that Harry and his father we aboard. One of the ship's Junior Officer's them came to meet them and escourted them to the Karibik Lounge, the ships Observation Lounge. A few moments later, the Master of Albatros, Captain Morten Hansen arrived and introduced himself to Harry and his father. Harry then had the opportunity to officially present his especially assigned drawing of the vessel, which took place in front of the statue of 'Lady Albatros'. After the official presentation the Captain invited Harry and his father to visit the navigation bridge. After visiting the bridge Captain Morten Hansen, took Harry and his father, Brian, to Harry's Bar at the stern of the ship on Deck 7, where they enjoyed light refreshments and chatted together for quite sometime. The Captain then invited Harry and his father to tour the vessel and stay aboard to enjoy lunch, which they were more than willing to agree to. The ship's Security Officer then came to meet Harry and his father and took them on a brief tour of the vessel, including the numerous bars and lounges, restaurants, main show lounge, gallery and some of the crew areas too. After exploring the ship, Harry and Brian were invited to enjoyed lunch aboard, in either one of the ship's main dinning rooms, or the pool side buffet at the stern of the vessel. They decided to enjoy lunch at buffet on the stern of the vessel in the warm sunshine and sat with the ship's Security Officer for quite sometime, discussing previous and future ship visits and drawing presentations. Once they had finished lunch, Harry and Brian very briefly explored the ship's upper outside decks and found time for a quite game of mini golf, before disembarking the vessel.
