Dream Designs Colchester Confirms Visit Aboard Costa Pacifica at Harwich International Port27/4/2013 Costa Pacifica at sea We're very happy to share with you yet more exciting news and inform you that we have confirmed yet another ship visit, to take place very soon! On April 29th 2013, Dream Designs Colchester are to visit the Costa Pacifica at Harwich International Port. The vessel is the largest cruise ship ever to visit Harwich International Port, weighing in at 114,500 tonnes. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester will be joined by his father, Brian Cotterill. Costa Pacifica first visited Harwich International Port on May 16th 2011 and we where there to watch the ship arrive. We also took the opportunity to especially assign a drawing of Costa Pacifica and it was kindly presented aboard by a member of staff from the Cruise Terminal. Unfortunately we did not receive a response from the Captain or Costa Cruises, but we did see the drawing being opened on the bridge from the quayside before the ship departed. We have been able to organise and confirm this visit aboard Costa Pacifica due to our personal correspondence with another Costa Cruises' Captain, which we met in September 2012, during a previous drawing presentation at Harwich International Port. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, said: "It was a great surprise to confirm yet another ship visit this week and we are very much looking forward to visiting Costa Pacifica during her visit to Harwich International Port on April 29th 2013." We are particularly proud of our close friendship with P&O Cruises, which began in 2008, following our invitation to visit the then newly built Ventura. Since then our drawings have been presented aboard 5 of the 7 ships which currently make up the P&O Cruises' fleet, including Azura, Aurora, Arcadia, Oceana and recently Oriana. We felt particularly privileged when we were invited to the official Naming Ceremony Celebrations of Azura on April 10th 2010 in Southampton. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester and his father Brian Cotterill attended the event, but unfortunately Harry's mother Diane Cotterill was unable to attend. Leading up to the celebrations, we especially assigned 3 drawings of Azura. Upon boarding Azura on April 10th 2010 before the Official Naming Ceremony took place, Harry Cotterill and his father, Brian, were given the opportunity to meet with Carol Marlow, President & Managing Director, P&O Cruises. The 3 drawings were presented to her, one which was for Carol Marlow, one for the Master of Azura, Captain Keith Dowds and the third was for Mickey Arison, CEO & Chairman Carnival Corporation PLC. We are sure as many of you will be aware Harry Cotterill will be joined by Gavin Pamment, Chief Photographer, Pamment Photography, aboard Azura on April 16th 2013, on their very own 2 night cruise. As a result earlier this month we assigned a brand new drawing of Azura. We have now taken the decision to attempt to get the drawing presented or sent to Azura's Godmother, Darcey Bussell, CBE as a gift and to mark the 3rd anniversary of the Naming Ceremony Celebrations on April 10th 2010. Unfortunately this will not be an easy task and we will be communicating our plans with P&O Cruises shortly. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, said: " We are very excited to be sailing aboard P&O Cruises' Azura, particularly after witnessing the ship being officially named by her Godmother, Darcey Bussell, CBE on April 10th 2010. We have therefore decided to offer our new drawing of Azura as a commemorative gift to Darcey Bussell. " You can learn more from the Official Naming Ceremony of Azura in the 'Our History' section on our 'April 10th 2010' page!ENDS

They will be presenting the drawing to the Captain on behalf of Dream Designs Colchester during their very own 5 night cruise aboard the vessel later in 2013. The forthcoming official drawing presentation aboard Carnival Victory will be the forth drawing presentation which Debbie & Earl have taken part in on behalf of Dream Designs Colchester. Previously they have presented our drawings aboard Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom and Carnival Liberty.
