At Dream Designs Colchester we are very proud of the close connections and friendships which we have with many of the world's leading cruise lines.

We are particularly proud of our close friendship with P&O Cruises, which began in 2008, following our invitation to visit the then newly built Ventura.

Since then our drawings have been presented aboard 5 of the 7 ships which currently make up the P&O Cruises' fleet, including Azura, Aurora, Arcadia, Oceana and recently Oriana.

We felt particularly privileged when we were invited to the official Naming Ceremony Celebrations of Azura on April 10th 2010 in Southampton.

Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester and his father Brian Cotterill attended the event, but unfortunately Harry's mother Diane Cotterill was unable to attend.

Leading up to the celebrations, we especially assigned 3 drawings of Azura. Upon boarding Azura on April 10th 2010 before the Official Naming Ceremony took place, Harry Cotterill and his father, Brian, were given the opportunity to meet with Carol Marlow, President & Managing Director, P&O Cruises.

The 3 drawings were presented to her, one which was for Carol Marlow, one for the Master of Azura, Captain Keith Dowds and the third was for Mickey Arison, CEO & Chairman Carnival Corporation PLC.

We are sure as many of you will be aware Harry Cotterill will be joined by Gavin Pamment, Chief Photographer, Pamment Photography, aboard Azura on April 16th 2013, on their very own 2 night cruise. As a result earlier this month we assigned a brand new drawing of Azura.

We have now taken the decision to attempt to get the drawing presented or sent to Azura's Godmother, Darcey Bussell, CBE as a gift and to mark the 3rd anniversary of the Naming Ceremony Celebrations on April 10th 2010. Unfortunately this will not be an easy task and we will be communicating our plans with P&O Cruises shortly.

Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, said:

" We are very excited to be sailing aboard P&O Cruises' Azura, particularly after witnessing the ship being officially named by her Godmother, Darcey Bussell, CBE on April 10th 2010. We have therefore decided to offer our new drawing of Azura as a commemorative gift to Darcey Bussell. "
