![]() Royal Caribbean International's Freedom of the Seas Dream Designs Colchester is delighted to be able to take this opportunity to announce to you our plans for yet another official drawing presentation, which is set to take place aboard Royal Caribbean International’s giant 158,000 tonne, Freedom of the Seas. Our two wonderful Volunteers @ Sea, Sue & Sheila, who cruise together with their families annually, have kindly agreed to present our drawing of Freedom of the Seas, which is yet to be assigned, to the Master of the vessel, Captain Rob Heapstead, during their 7 night cruise aboard in October 2011. In October 2010 Sue & Sheila presented our especially assigned drawing of Ruby Princess to the Princess Cruises' Commodore, Commodore Giuseppe Romano during their annual cruise together. Commodore Giuseppe Romano was very impressed with our drawing and was kind enough to frame and display the drawing on board. Dream Designs Colchester has had a connection with Royal Caribbean International for a number of years now, after first making contact with the leading cruise line in 2008. In August 2008, Jo Rzymowska, Associate Vice President & General Manager, Royal Caribbean International & Celebrity Cruises, UK & Ireland, kindly arranged for Dream Designs Colchester to visit their then newest and largest vessel, Independence of the Seas, whilst berthed alongside City Cruise Terminal, in Southampton. During summer of 2009, Global Cruise Services (UK) Ltd kindly agreed to present our drawing of Jewel of the Seas to the Master of the vessel, Captain James Macdonald while the vessel was berthed alongside the Cruise Terminal at Harwich International Port. We were later invited aboard Jewel of the Seas to meet with Captain James Macdonald where we were given the opportunity to visit the bridge as well as tour the various public areas on board. In December 2009, Reggie Atwell, kindly presented our drawing of Royal Caribbean International's Oasis of the Seas to Captain William Wright, Senior Vice President, Marine Operations, Royal Caribbean International, whilst aboard the vessel during the inaugural celebrations, before the the official naming ceremony. Our drawing of Freedom of the Seas is due to be assigned shortly. Photographs of the drawing will be available to view in our Cruise Ship Drawing Gallery later this week, once the drawing is completed. The drawing is set to depart Dream Designs Colchester next week, before arriving in Florida in early October 2011. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, said: " We are truly delighted that our Volunteers @ Sea, Sue & Sheila have kindly agreed to present our drawing of Freedom of the Seas to Captain Rob Hempstead on behalf of Dream Designs Colchester during their 7 night cruise aboard the vessel later this year. " He added: " It was an honour to have Sue & Shelia present our drawing of Ruby Princess to Commodore Giuseppe Romano last year, during their annual family cruise. Reader Offers Ltd was incorporated in 1995 by Peter Beadles and has now become one of the largest and fastest growing independent cruise retailers within the United Kingdom, working closely in partnership with many of the world's leading and largest cruises lines. Dream Designs Colchester first became aware of Reader Offers Ltd earlier this year in January, after attening their second Cruise Show. Whilst at the event, Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester met with Laura Lamb, Commercial Director, Reader Offers Ltd, who kindly invited us to visit the Head Office of Reader Offers Ltd at Lexden House in Colchester. On March 3rd 2011, Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester was given the opportunity to visit Reader Offers Ltd, at Lexden House for a few hours, where he met with many of the knowledgeable and friendly staff, as well as Peter Beadles, Chairman, Reader Offers Ltd. We were so impressed with the level of service that Reader Offers Ltd delivers to it's clients that earlier this year we decided to book our second voyage aboard Cunard Line's flagship Queen Mary 2, in June 2012, to be part of the Royal Rendezvous, in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen. We later booked aboard Queen Mary 2 for the 2 night taster cruise in October 2011, which we were delighted to be able to book with Reader Offers Ltd again! We are now also looking at the possibility of booking another cruise, with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, during 2013. (More details of this will be revealed at a later date.) Saturday 23rd July 2011 was a very special day for Reader Offers Ltd, when they officially opened their very own cruise retail shop, in the busy town center of Colchester. This now allows their loyal customers to plan their cruise holiday face-to-face rather than over the telephone or internet should they wish to do so. Whilst at the ROL Cruise Show last week, on Thursday 18th August 2011, Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, was lucky enough to meet with many of the staff from Reader Offers Ltd and took the chance catch up on the latest developments both at Reader Offers Ltd and Dream Designs Colchester, as well as within the cruise industry in general. In fact, Peter Beadle, Chairman, Reader Offers Ltd, joined the VIP visit to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines' flagship Balmoral at Harwich International Port the previous day, Wednesday 17th August 2011, where we officially presented our drawing of the vessel to Captain Atle Knutsen. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, also took the opportunity to meet with the numerous representatives from many cruise lines at the ROL Cruise Show, including MSC Cruises, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Star Clippers and many more! Many of the cruise line representatives where intrigued to hear about Dream Designs Colchester and some were kind enough to take the time to view our drawings and learn more about us. A great number of cruise lines are now in contact with us and we are working closely with them to arrange a number of ships visits and official drawing presentations throughout 2012 and beyond. Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, said: " It is truly wonderful to have a company such as Reader Offers Ltd located so closely to Dream Designs Colchester. The ROL Cruise Show is always a very popular event and it was a great opportunity to meet with many of the staff from Reader Offers Ltd again." He added: " The ROL Cruise Show was also an ideal opportunity to meet with many cruise line representatives and we have made a number of new contacts. We are now working closely with them to discuss the possibility of ship visits in the not to distant future.
