Patricia Dempsey with Vision of the Seas
One of our most recently assigned cruise ship drawings, Vision of the Seas, is to make it’s way aboard the ship, where it is due to hopefully be presented to the Captain on our behalf.
Patricia Dempsey who is a very keen cruise ship enthusiast has willingly agreed to present our drawing of Vision of the Seas to the Captain, whilst she is aboard the vessel during her 4 night, Northern Europe cruise, departing Southampton on April 29th 2011.
Patricia Dempsey said:
In June 2010, Patricia kindly took our drawing of Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Norwegian Epic aboard with her, during the vessel's inaugural cruise from Rotterdam to Southampton. Our drawing was assumed to have been passed on to the Captain, although we never received any reply from the Captain or Norwegian Cruise Line.
Harry Cotterill, President & Managing Director, Dream Designs Colchester, said:
" I was delighted when Patricia agreed to take our drawing of Vision of the Seas aboard with her. It seems ideal that Patricia has agreed to do so, since she was aboard Vision of the Seas when the vessel visited Harwich International Port in May 2009. "
" I visited Harwich Internation Port to watch Vision of the Seas depart. Only a few months later would Patricia and I become friends via Facebook, to find out we’d both taken photos of each other during the departure from Harwich. "
