The arrival of a new cruise ship is always exciting but I have to admit I’ve been following the construction of MSC Meraviglia particularly closely. The ship looks absolutely stunning and is now so close to joining the MSC Cruises fleet! For a while now I’ve keep it a secret but now I’m thrilled to let you all know that Gavin and I will be spending a night on board MSC Meraviglia in Le Harve. We are understandably very excited and are so thankful to MSC Cruises for allowing us to come aboard and experience the amazing new ship! We will board the ship in Le Harve on 02 June 2017 and disembark the following morning. So we’ve not go long on board but it will hopefully be just enough time to experience and discover all that MSC Meraviglia has to offer, which is quite a lot! The new ship is the largest in the MSC Cruises fleet, with a capacity of 5,700 passengers. The 167,000 gross tonne ship measures 315 metres long, 43 metres wide and 65 metres high. The ship is packed full of extraordinary features that offer the perfect experience at sea in every season. There’s a broad array of dining options, out-of-this-world entertaining, an innovative ocean view aft lounge, a two-deck indoor promenade with a huge 480 square metre LED dome, spectacular amusement area, outdoor water park and countless other wonderful features to enjoy! We’ll be amongst the very first guests to step aboard the new ship. MSC Meraviglia will be officially christened is Le Harve on 03 June 2017 (the day we disembark). We are so thankful to MSC Cruises for allowing us to come aboard and preview the breathtaking new ship and share it with you all. Make sure you follow our Facebook and Twitter pages closely and keep a look out for further updates, photos and live videos from our time on board!
