I’m thrilled to let you all know that I will be sampling the delights of Saga Sapphire later this month, whilst the ship is berthed at Dover Cruise Terminal. In fact I’ll actually be spending the night on board the ship, along with Gavin too. We’ve been on board before, however that was a few years ago during a rather quick ship visit. This time, we’re a little older and wiser and we’ve got a little longer on board too. Saga is normally reserved for those over 50… me and Gavin both have a few years to go yet! But, in the nicest way possible, quite a few of the readers of my blog and visitors to the Cruise Cotterill website are 50 plus. That’s why we were so keen to check out Saga Sapphire again.
Also, recently many of you have shown a great level of interest in Saga too, with particular reference to the new Spirit of Discovery which launches in summer 2019. Gavin and I will be boarding Saga Sapphire at Dover Cruise Terminal on 19 May 2017 for our complimentary night on board the ship. During our time on board we’re keen to explore the ship as much as we can and experience all that is on offer, from the beautiful lounges and public rooms to the swimming pools and spa! During our night on board we will be treated to lunch and afternoon tea, a seven-course dinner and live entertainment, allowing us to really get a better idea of what the ship and Saga as a cruise line has to offer! Understandably we’re both very excited. We must of course extend our thanks to Saga for being kind enough to agree to welcome us back on board Saga Sapphire and spend the night on the wonderful ship. Be sure to keep a look out on our Facebook and Twitter pages for further updates and photos and live videos from our night on board! If there’s anything you particularly want to see or if you have a particular question, please comment below and we will do our best to answer your questions.
